President Mahinda Rajapaksa has postponed his visit to London, the External Affairs Ministry told the Daily Mirror. Amidst reports by international media that the President had cancelled his scheduled visit due to fears that he will be arrested for war crimes.
“His visit has not been cancelled it has only been postponed till December,” Director General of Pubic Communications and Spokesperson for the Ministry of External Affairs Bandula Jayasekara said.
The Times of India UK had quoted the British Foreign Office as saying "the President's plans have changed." (D.S)

Well commented Fayad. Tony Blair and Bush should be taken for quesetioning war crimes. MR took a great decision where no other President or Prime Minister was prepared to take to wipe out terrorism.
No Sri Lankan should be bullied or be scared of the big brothers who are guilty of war crimes. They point the finger at us but there had been human right abuses left right and centre. Where is Human Rights Watch?

Before arresting MR they must take stern action against Blair and Bush for invading Iraq and killing innocent people in the name of "War against Weapons of mass destruction."
