The report compiled by the Women and Childs bureau regarding the access of offensive adult material through mobile phones was handed over to the Children’s Court in Colombo today, sources at the Women and Childs bureau told Daily Mirror online.
The report was compiled after the Women and Childs bureau received directions from the Court to seek the assistance of mobile phone service providers to ban or restrict porn sites accessed via mobiles.
The Telecom Regulatory Commission (TRC) had earlier said that it needed a government directive or a court order to block offensive material accessed through mobile phones, which prompted the court order. (Daily Mirror online)

Our children are forced to keep away from what I think is true education. When you ban certain things they tend to find out what exactly it is. Why not educate the children about sex, family planning so that they will not fall into traps.
