Hope the authorities find the right parents, If not I guess the child already had a good future being cared for by a family, who also has other adopted kids living in Colombo and have a better future. All they needed to do was to check on the well being of the child while, living with the adopted parents until they found the genuine parents. Wonder if THE AUTHORITY can provide the luxury the child already got used to.

if this child was sold or given by the parents then the child may have a better life with the people who bought the child. It is not easy to care for, and bring up a two day old infant. The people who brought the child up must love the child. Of course, the child belongs with the parents if indeed, the child was stolen.
