Lankan maid raped in Kuwait

Kuwait police are looking for three Bangladeshis for kidnapping and raping a Sri Lankan housemaid, reports Annahar daily.

According to security sources the maid in her complaint to the police said she was walking along a street in Firdous and the three men forced her into their car and drove her to a desert in Sabah Al-Ahmad and raped her successively several times.

The maid added the men then started drinking alcohol and she managed to escape. (Arab times Online)

there are thousands of runaway maids in kuwait who are working illegally and vulnerable to all kind of attacks. may be she is one of them. otherwise she has no business walking on the streets of firdouse. anyhow i am very sorry for her.

Don’t only blame the government and better all of us take some responsibilities and work towards a country who never send ladies to work abroad as housemaids and stuff
