'Kudu Malee' dies

A woman drug dealer from Wanathamulla, Borella had died from swallowing a home made heroin pill, police said.

They said the woman 'Malee', described as a notorious drug dealer in the area had swallowed two pills when the police raided the area. Police were however able to retrieve the other other pill while she swallowed one.

Later she was admitted to the hospital, where she died.

Police said most of her family members were serving jail terms for drug related offences.
