Hambantota Mayor Eraj Fernando, who was today arrested on charges of assaulting a suspect in police custody, was ordered to be remanded until tomorrow by the Hambantota Magistrate.

Oh please he is just a man who wanted to do good for his town his people his community and his wallet ...in a few days he will be suffering from;a rare heart condition ..treatable only in singapore .. for say 6 months and on return it will all be a blank to him
