The Ministry of Finance and Planning announced the reduction of the price of a Litro and Laugh gas cylinder by Rs. 150 from midnight today. The Ministry also announced the reduction of import duty on big onions, potatoes, sprats, fish, sugar, canned fish and dry fish from midnight today.
The decision has been taken after the Cost of Living committee chaired by President Mahinda Rajapaksa met yesterday.
