Mr Perera.get your facts corrected. No forigner can travel without proper documents in any country in the world. He was carrying fake documents...... Good job for identifying the fake docs.
Any way he was relesed......like to know how he got in to the country in the first place.

Let it be a local or a foreigner. If the authorities discovered fake documents, on what grounds did the judge give orders to release him? If the authorities keep questioning him, the truth behind this will come to light. What a joke!!!!
Saturday, 24 April 2010 06:34 PM
So it's right to provide fake documents ?
Saturday, 24 April 2010 09:44 PM
If you live in Sri Lanka, you will know that there is no restriction of people visiting Jaffna. This is about a foreigner who used fake documentation.
Saturday, 24 April 2010 10:40 PM
as you know there are foreigners who pose as tourists who come to sri lanka to undermine the sovereignty of sri lanka.
So, it is a good move by the gov to crack down on these individuals who move about in our island with fake documents.

This is some advice for Perera and Bash
The restrictions of travel are for foreigners only, Not Sri Lankans.
From past experience we know well that it was foreigners that covertly helped the LTTE to divide and rule Sri Lanka. Also this Frenchman had forged documents.
Mr Perera and Mr Bash please wake up from your slumber.

Free Movement for an unauthorized person? Did you have a bash on your head recently ?
Monday, 26 April 2010 05:52 AM
If there is free movement, why do you need authorization?
Is it another country?
Monday, 26 April 2010 07:52 AM
Go anywhere in the world, the police, boarder patrols, military ; if they want they can ask for your identifications, ( or travel papers). In sri lanka it is least practiced. it is time not only to forigners but also to sri lankans to have law apllied, in traveling, possesing fake documnets, illegal housing, squatting for everything.
