General Sarath Fonseka has begun a fast on to death to urge the authorities to allow him to talk to his children over the phone.
His wife, Mrs. Anoma Fonseka told reporters a short while ago that her husband had been denied the right to speak to his daughters who are currently overseas and therefore he would fast on to death till his demand was fulfilled.
However speaking to Daily Mirror online Major General Prasad Samarasinghe said the phone facility provided to General Sarath Fonseka was an additional privilege given to him while he is being detained and that the Army is not bound by any court order or any other law to facilitate calls between the General and his daughter. Yeah!! Praba also had daughters and sons. Osama Bin Laden also has so many children. That is not an excuse for doing wrong.
Anyways... This seems more like a suicide mission before all the details are revealed about what really happened. ..people should read up more and really try to find out what the truth is.

Another 'fast' one by Fonseka the politician. He is fast learning the tricks of the trade. Best thing he should be doing is to cooperate with the military & crime investigators to conclude their findings & bring to courts any charges (if any), more than anything he should help to locate his former aides, fugitives wanted by both local & foreign agencies, including his high flying dollar boy danunna t to face the law & clear his name like a 'man' without hiding & making his own mother a scape goat. What low grade mentality is this by future leaders of SL
