When was the last time he Doctors went on strike ???? Do you know the meaning of the word " murder " ???
As you, no doctor wants to commit murder. They deal with human lives, and human lives are unpreditable.
You also can go " POOF" anyday, anytime, without any rhyme or reason. Dot put the blame on the people who have to deal with you at that end.

Please dont judge people on heresay.....

    gamed1956 Saturday, 20 November 2010 03:00 PM

A patient died on the fifth day after an appendectomy, he was quite well till his death. The report of the post-mortem is still to be braught into daylight.

But people like you, judge, and convict, and sentence to death, without trial, a group of people who look after you in your worst, to their best abiliy, undr trying conditions.

Shame on you. Can you people sleep well after such comments ???

Why not disclose all the imformation such as who was the sports official, the name of the Doctor who conducted the operation , whether there are any complains made to the police, what action taken by the Police ( any arrests) etc. Then those involved will be more careful in the future

    Faqi Friday, 19 November 2010 09:24 AM

It looks as if we have a long way to go, to understand the importance of doctors in our society and also to know that they are not 'gods' to give re-birth to a dying person.

    ajja Saturday, 20 November 2010 02:27 AM

any thing to go on strike. Murder and go on strike. hold an inquiry and punish if responsible. Doctors go behind money.

Health Office Friday, 19 November 2010 10:15 AM

No docs in prive hospitals will not got for strik like this even if they receive death threats. How come?

    sltk2004 Friday, 19 November 2010 10:17 AM

If it was only a threat, they should only threaten to strike. They should really strike only if there was an actual killing !

knight Rider Friday, 19 November 2010 10:22 AM

and by striking will the Death Threat become Void ? i thought doctors never fear death and that the were much smarter people...looks like a bunch of sissy's fussing for some attention.

    perumal Sunday, 21 November 2010 08:21 AM

Any way why were they provided with enough securities? ; when what was needed was security and/ or insurance!

    gentlemen Friday, 19 November 2010 10:23 AM

May be politico behind it !
No doc under go any strike recently. if doc have neglected that should be inquired and punished systematically.
our doc have to cover massive duty work compared to a foreign doctor but with minimum hospital facilities
(even compared to India). it has become true what doc's were saying about corruption in the ex minister's period.
still the health system is not in properly administrated.
we should let educated people to run vital ministries in the future.

FLorence Nite in Gal Friday, 19 November 2010 10:25 AM

wow...soon the professional too will having defenders and Prados around them !

    KD Friday, 19 November 2010 10:29 AM

do you think doctors should give their services for free? Even a hair dresser earns more for an appointment than a consultant in this country. This is the attitude only found in SL. Intelligence is frowned upon.

    ND Friday, 19 November 2010 10:30 AM

Because they only look after their own skin. Government officers have to stick together!

    ND Friday, 19 November 2010 10:30 AM

Would you say that if your life was on the line?

King Kong Friday, 19 November 2010 10:36 AM

What a brilliant comment. You have to get killed to strike and demand no one is killed.

monarawila nilame Friday, 19 November 2010 10:39 AM

    shoot the doctors...

    Subha Friday, 19 November 2010 10:40 AM

Who would want to work in God-forsaken conditions, with a near-zero salary, without basic equipment, for the worst bunch of homo sapiens humanity has ever seen, and save miserable lives of people that keep making themselves ill, and further receive threats from these low-lives at the death of one of their herd? Yes, if you are reading this message, I am referring to you!

    Anver Friday, 19 November 2010 11:38 AM
