Can't he step aside from the post (CJ) as well - not only the case. No other Sri Lankan CJ ever received this type of letter - shows the level of deterioration in the Judiciary.

if he is really feels that he should act in the greater interest of the court, he should resign from his post of CJ and request the SL government to reinstate the former CJ.

I am doing this in the greater interest of this court, to protect its dignity. When did the C.J have any dignity. If he had these qualities he should have refused the position when the former C.J was ousted by a kangaroo court.
Yesterdays paper indicated that he resigned after receiving a anonymous letter. What a joke. Tell me of any person resigning his /her post based on anonymous letter.
These govt idiots think that the public are goats.
