The CID has summoned 21 persons in connection with facilitating fund transactions of UPFA MP Duminda Silva, Police Spokesman SSP Ajith Rohana said.

He said the 21 persons were summoned based on the findings of the investigations. “These people have organised the fund transactions and donations of Duminda Silva,” SSP Rohana said.

It was alleged that funds had been transferred between drug kingpin Samantha Kumara alias Wele Suda and Duminda Silva.

Hundred and thirty people have been questioned so far in connection with the probe, SSP Rohana said. (Lahiru Pothmulla)

Why are people in such a hurry, investigation had to be carried out fully and sufficient physical evidence had to be collected which could stand up in a court. Otherwise it will be thrown out. then the people say judges were bribed. this is because people have no idea how to carry out investigation properly.
