What a tortuous web of lies and deceit to get asylum. Surely the details of these stories can be verified if supplied to a third party like the UK embasy.

Once the so called victims of torture gets the British Passport ,their first visit is to Sri Lanka. The war was a lottery win for the rural Tamils.

These are all economic migrants, they will bring up all sorts of excuses to live in the Uk as the free benefits these people get is better than working anywhere eles in the world. Deport all these asylum seekers, they are safe in Sri Lanka. These so called human rights lawyers are the scum of the earth, they will do anything for the money they earn from these cases. No one is tortured in Sri Lanka. Ask the British High Commission in Colombo.

Even the President said he was scared for his life and went hiding in a coconut estate after the polls.Prime Minister said if Dinesh Gunawardana ( or some M P ) opened his mouth he would have traveled ( taken ) in a White Van.etc. . . etc . . . What else do you want to prove ? ? ?Even the U K and the whole world knew all this. But there are so many Hypocrites like you . . . They pretend every thing is fine.

Gamarala,I agree what you say, but have you thought a moment that most of these refugees left this country during the MRs government, where people lived under difficult and scary circumstances. These people needs assistance to get their life back in Sri Lanka. There are thousands of Sri Lankan refugees living in Camps and detention centres all over the world. We need to welcome these people back to their country where life is much safer than ever before.
