The United Nations yesterday said that UN Chief Ban Ki-moon is ‘working with other parts’ of the UN system to review the UN's own actions in Sri Lanka during the final stage of the war.

Ban’s spokesman Martin Nesirky told media in New York that the UN Chief is ‘working with other parts’ of the UN system ‘on how that will actually take place.’

Commenting on a question whether the UN Chief has seen the video Nesirky said that Ban “has not actually seen the documentary” but is “aware of its themes.”

When asked Nesirky if Ban has reconsidered his position that he cannot or will not follow the recommendation by his own Panel of Experts that he establish an independent international investigation mechanism until either Sri Lanka's Rajapaksa government agrees, or the Security Council, Human Rights Council or General Assembly orders it.

Nesirky said that for an investigation to have “administrative and judicial powers,” a vote by one of the three bodies would be required.

War crime done by UN sponsored acts by US and EU.
Sri Lankan forces are real heros who rescued innocent thamil citizens from killing fields of Prabakarana and LTTE. This war crime was aided by blood thirsty thamils diaspora.
We musth try UN, US, EU and thamil diaspora for war crime in Sri Lanka and hang them one by one.
