Accident injures 6 in Mathugama

An accident involving two buses and a van was reported in the Pantiya area along the Mathugama, Kalutara main road this morning injuring six people, police said.

The accident occurred after the van had overtaken the bus which was traveling from Colombo to Mathugama and skidded off and crashed on to the bus.

The injured were admitted to the Wettewa and Nagoda hospitals. (Pix by Sarath Madawala)
