Sri Lanka’s former Ambassador to Russia Udayanga Weeratunga, who was arrested and remanded until February 17 over the controversial MiG deal, has been admitted to the prison hospital, informed sources said.
They said that he was admitted to the prison hospital after he complained of a chest pain.
Mr. Weeratunga was arrested by the CID at the Bandaranaike International Airport yesterday.
