Three persons, including a two-year old child and a 12 year-old boy went missing when a cab veered off the road and plunged into the Vavunikulam Tank in Mallavi, Mullaitheevu this afternoon, police said.
Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana said another 12-year-old boy was rescued soon after the mishap.
The search operations are underway to locate the missing.
