The discussions that were due to be held at 6.30 p.m. today between Railways trade unions and Finance Minister Mangala Samaraweera on the ongoing railway strike had been cancelled, Railway Trade Union Alliance Co-Convener Lal Ariyaratne said.
He said the Minister had asked them to come after calling off the strike but they had refused to do so.
“Therefore, the Minister had asked not to come for the discussions,” he said.
He said that accordingly, the strike would be carried on until further notice. (Sheain Fernandopulle)

What talk with these DEVILS (Railways). Please PRIVATIZE this department. Bring Indians employees to solve this menace. Also, set-up a separate unit in the Army to counter these strikes in the future.

ALL, yes ALL, public officials should be REQUIRED to take public transport at least once per week to office, especially the minister of Transport and the Prime Minister!

very good lesson for Mangala. He is number one traitor. Good for the people who voted them in. Rajitha is eying for Presidency. So he wants all other Ministers to be un popular. Rajitha himself has made health sector a devil paradise. Go and see Ragama hospital.
