STF seizes Kerala Ganja worth Rs.23mn in Kilinochchi

A 32-year-old man was arrested by the STF while transporting 153 kilogrammes of Kerala ganja worth Rs.23 million on a motorcycle in Kilinochchi this evening, police spokesman SP Ruwan Gunasekera said.
He said the STF also recovered Rs.970,800 in cash from the suspect's possession. (Darshana Sanjeewa)

Normally when STF catches drugs, somebody flies in by helicopter and rescues. It does not happen now thanks to yahapalanaya.

Legalise marijuana, regulate it, grow it, sell it, export it, tax it! Stop wasting time and resources on arresting people for selling a harmless plant. This ridiculousness only serves to help the underworld thrive and expose people to low quality product that is potentially harmful. The rest of the world is finally seeing sense and working towards legalising it. In the meantime, we continue to produce and sell far more harmful substances like tobacco and alcohol.
