The Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) secured 51,330 votes in the Mutur electorate in Trincomalee District, recording the first electorate win for the party in the 2020 General Election.
The Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) secured 11,085 votes while the Illankai Tamil Arasu Kachchi (ITAK) garnered 9,502 votes. The Ahila Ilankai Tamil Congress (AITC) won 1,073 votes.
