Ranil tells Sajith: 'Get ready to play a bigger role in party'

Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe has told UNP Deputy Leader Sajith Premadasa to be prepared to play a greater role in the party in the future.
Mr. Wickremesinghe had told this to Mr. Premadasa during the UNP working committee meeting this morning.
Minister Premadasa who was responding to a question raised by journalists after the working committee meeting whether he was willing to take over the party leadership said he is prepared to accept any responsibility given to him unanimously by the party. (Yohan Perera)

This is what I learned from Ranil. If any one challenges your leadership, you appoint him as the deputy leader. And after few months, you appoint another 3 deputy leaders. Now the person who challenges the leadership becomes one out of four! I dont know is this waht called Tikiri Mole?

I do hope Sajith Premadasa will become the Prime Minister of Sri Lanka as soon as possible. We have to allow young blood to take the Leading Role in the country to carry on the big work.Sajith is a very capable person with full of confidence to do a Great Job as the Prime Minister of Sri Lanka.I do hope one day he will become the President of this Great Country with all Party Politics to work for the development of Sri Lanka.
