Vehicle permit holders are allowed to buy unregistered vehicles locally at the market price through authorized dealers in Sri Lanka with relevant tax concession, the Ministry of Finance announced.
This comes into effect as per the provisions included in the Trade and Investment Policy Circular No. 01/2018 (Amended) and Public Administration Circular No. 22/99 (Amended).

The rich doesn't need new cars make the poor buy new cars. Limit 2 cars per family or even 1 without putting the burden on innocent poor families
