Parliament sessions were suspended for ten minutes due to a tense situation over the debate on the report of the PCoI on political victimization.
The tense situation arose after both the government and the opposition wanted to move the adjournment debate on the report.
Leader of the House Dinesh Gunawardane said the government should move the debate as the government members were politically victimised during the Yahapalana government. (Yohan Perera and Ajith Siriwardane)
