The upcoming week would be crucial in terms of Covid-19, as the virus remains to be active, Chief Epidemiologist Dr. Sudath Samaraweera said.
Speaking to the media, he said there was a high tendency of the virus to spread when people are exposed to large crowds during shopping and other leisurely activities.
Therefore, Dr. Samaraweera requested people to their restrict movements during the festive season.
“Plans are underway to conduct Antigen tests on people who leave the Colombo city during the weekend,” he added. (Sheain Fernandopulle)

why waiting for the poison which the corrupt WHO is recommending. Ask Putin to help, he will be happy to supply their vaccine Sputnik V which is already given to people in Russia. If russian tourists come in and the authorities recognize their vaccination, why it should not be good enough for Sri Lankans.
