The Lanka-IOC will increase fuel prices following the increase of CPC fuel prices with effect from midnight today, LIOC Managing Director Shyam Bohra said a short while ago.
He told the Daily Mirror that the calculations with regard to prices increase would be concluded by 7 pm today and accordingly they would arrive at a final decision on the increasing rates.
“The fuel hike is certain but the rates will be somewhat differ from the CPC fuel prices,” he said. (Kalathma Jayawardhane)

When CPC imported low quality fuel and the country was running out of fuel stock, LIOC helped Sri Lanka by importing stock on urgent basis. Don't be ungrateful.

Thanks RW for that. LIOC simply distribute oil and nothing is invested here. But get huge profits thanks to 'brains' like RW

Fuel price Formula is a great Win for Sri Lankan Public. LIOC will be able to offer slightly better prices for Fuel as CPC losses are due to their mismanagement with all the Govt support and assets. Now they will have to compete. If they still make losses time to think about their continuity. As a service to the Country, I will pump Fuel from LIOC till CPC comes right.
