"Kotte Mayor's statement that a pastor took people to Jaffna to try and link it to the issue there created unnecessary tension in the area. " - It is such mischievous statements by "our Sinhala Buddhist Patriots" (within inverted commas !) which caused the mayhem in Aluthgama, Digana, Kandy. and one year ago (during Easter) at Minuvangoda and other places. ! Cannot we learn from mistakes and banish all such rumor mongers and extremists and not promote or encourage (finance) them etc.

How come no one take action against the rumour mongers!

All religious representatives should do their duty in prescribed places they reside or at special functions after obtaining permission; not by going in groups to villages and house by house.

If all these useless politicians keep their mouths shut, mind their own business, get fed from the looted money from us like they did for so many years and do not get elected again thats the best that can happen to this country. Let the president and the forces run this country. We do not need any of you.

Harsha, once again you show your ignorance. What is false or not is not the matter, you did not go to the Authorities in charge of matters on the ground. Who cares what the Kotte Mayor told you. U did not go to the authorities

Thank you Mr De Silva for speaking on behalf of the Church. There are people who want to use this situation to attack religious places and cause hatred among communities. If these allegations were false action must be taken against those who spread False Information. There has to be a public apology to the Pastor concerned which is a decent thing to do.

Why no FCID inquiries for giving false information
