Fire destroys textile shop in Bambalapitiya

A fire had broken out in a textile shop in Havelock Road, Bambalapitya last night, police said.

The police department, CEB and the Colombo fire brigade teamed up to douse the fire. Police said that no casualties were reported but the entire shop was destroyed.

The cause of fire is yet to be determined.
