Covid-19 - Ananda Principal rejects rumors of any infected students

Referring to rumors about an Ananda College student whose father who is suspected of being infected by COVID-19, Principal S.M. Keerthiratna said the student was not suffering from any such infection.

He said the student had undergone medical tests and found free of any symptoms.

The Principal said though the rumors mentioned two students studying at Ananda College but this particular patient had only one student studying in Grade 12.

He said the parents, who had been misled by the rumors had refused to send their children to school today.

“There is no such situation in the school and parents should not fear to send their children to school,” the Principal said.
