This is what innocent poor people do. They don't have millions worth Benz or Audi's. And why not saying anything about faults of the Sons' who had been caused this due to excessive consumption of alcohol.

Some people have no ways to get about rather than the own motorbike. Its unsafe but as it was late evening and to avoid coming home late there is less option as our own public transport is no safer. via DM Android App

Now the Police would conveniently forget testing Range Bandara's vehicle driver for Alcohol.

Actually, the motorcyclists maybe guilty of contributory negligence but that doesn't detract from the primary negligence of the Cab driver if this is proved. It will only serve as a mitigatory circumstance.

This is not the first time this person has been involved in a dangerous accident. Six months ago he ran over and killed a man in the same area in his Land Rover. He got away Scot free.

Four on a bike is calling for problems, whatever the circumstances are. If it is not safe - it is not safe. The cab driver is at fault too. No excuse.

From the looks of the photos. This looks like the cab had hit the motor cycle from behind. This is very bad accident because a cab has good brakes and control than a motor cycle and if the road is not congested cab driver could easily have avoided the accident..

Sad about the injured but then four persons on a mobike is not safe motoring. Due circumstances this is common but generally never considered safe like any overcrowded vehicle where balance and braking are compromised.
