A group of Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and Special Task Force (STF) personnel inspected former minister Rajitha Senaratne's residence at Colombo 7 today to arrest him.
A notice had been issued to arrest the former minister over the controversial ‘white van’ news conference.
However, a lawyer appearing for MP Senaratne said the MP was not at his home when the officials of the CID and STF arrived. (Nimanthi Ranasinghe and Dasun Rajapaksa)

Dam shame if the police have ONE. Rajith Seneratne already in offence against the law. But police does not brings him to courts.
