Basil’s petition fixed for support

The Supreme Court today fixed for support for March 28, the fundamental rights petition filed by former minister of economic development, Basil Rajapaksa against the FCID arresting and remanding him on money laundering charges.

The petition was taken up before a bench comprising justice K.Sripavan, Anil Goonarathne and K.T. Chithrasri. (S.S. Selvanayagam)

    Running to the Supreme Court since there is somewhat Law and Order in the Country today, could anyone have done this during the past regime, MR. Basil?
