Former economic development minister Basil Rajapaksa was arrested by the Financial Crimes Investigation Division (FCID) on money laundering charges in connection with the purchase of a 16-acre block of land in Mapitigama, Dompe.
FCID officials said he would be produced in the Pugoda Magistrate’s Court today.
