The mastermind, in the import of 600 kilograms of heroin, which was seized by the Sri Lanka Navy in the international waters recently, surrendered to the Police Narcotic Bureau (PNB0 on Thursday evening, informed sources said.
They said the man known as ‘Borelasgamuwe Prasanna’, was the main dealer, who provided drugs including heroin, ICE, ecstasy to Casinos in the country.
On an earlier occasion, Borelasgamuwe Prasanna’s son and another drug trafficker were taken into PNB custody at Warakapola while fleeing to Nuwara Eliya.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the drugs had been sent by a Dubai underworld ring to ‘Borelasgamuwe Prasanna’. Investigations are underway to unravel the entire network.

This looks like a staged event to protect the actual importer of these drugs as the evidence must be strong against the actual importer.

Confiscate all his properties and that of his family members and freeze all bank accounts. This surrender is not the end in this saga.

"Buddhist" above, is quite right. This operation is far too big to have been "masterminded" by a cheap thug from Boralesgamuwa. He must be just the fall guy.
