A 56-year-old COVID-19 patient died while receiving treatment at the Kuliyapitiya Hospital, reporting the 15th COVID-19 death in Sri Lanka, the Health Ministry said.
The victim is a male from Unaleeya, Kuliyapitiya.
On October 22, a 50-year-old COVID-19 female patient, who is also from Kuliyapitiya died while receiving treatment at the Infectious Diseases Hospital (IDH).
