Four army personnel arrested over Eknaligoda disappearance

Four army personnel were arrested by the CID today in connection with the disappearance of journalist Prageeth Eknaligoda, police said.  

The four personnel were questioned by the CID this morning on Mr. Eknaligoda’s disappearance.

Police said two lieutenant colonels, a staff sergeant and a corporal were among the arrested.

    these four should be given the maximum punishment since they are licensed to carry arms and suppose to protect the country and its citizens. punishment should be an example to public servants who take illegal orders from politicos.

    My vote for the Swan and the Elephant has paid off. There was a former minister who had seen Mr.Eknaligoda in Paris (?). This man too has to be questioned and arrested. Finally the big handler (s) whom we all suspect need to be questioned and arrested. We have waited long enough.
