Firstly, I salute and express my gratitude to the authorities of the Wijaya News Paper Ltd for their radical attempt to introduce a Braille news paper for the benefit of visually impaired people in Sri Lanka. Their right to information is ensured at least by one of the humanitarian agencies in Sri Lanka and the due respect should be given to t Wijaya News Paper Ltd by the entire nation.

Now, it is high time to make another revolution in the field of sign language also. It is to broadcast news in sign language by television in Sri Lanka at least onetime a day. We will see who will take the initiative.

Thanks Wijaya News Paper Ltd
