Flight returns with Sri Lankan students from Wuhan

The special flight of SriLankan Airlines which left for Wuhan, China yesterday returned with Sri Lankan students and their family members this morning.

They will be taken to the Diyatalawa army camp for quarantine.

SriLankan Airlines's UL-1422 special flight departed for Wuhan at 3.45 pm from the Bandaranaike International Airport, Katunayake yesterday.

The aircraft is an A330-245 aircraft and landed at Wuhan Airport in China at 11.23 pm yesterday. (T.K.G.Kapila)

    This amply demonstrates the necessacity to have a few private Medical Colleges in SL so that those with the requisite educational qualifications and the wherewithal could obtain a Medical Degree locally.

    Fantastic job. Take care of our people . Thanks for the flight crew also for answering the call of duty effectively. Quarantines is part of the job and the airline is a responsible employer which cares for its crew and its passengers no matter what it costs.
