Wasantha Senanayake expelled from UNP

• Will be removed from State Minister post as well

UNP has decided to expel State Minister Wasantha Senanayake from the party, Party General Secretary Akila Viraj Kariyawasam said yesterday.   

Mr. Kariyawasam told Daily Mirror that action will be taken to remove his State Ministerial portfolio.State Minister Senanayake had earlier announced that he will not support the presidential candidate of the party Sajith Premadasa.
