Golu Hadawatha ‘Sugath’ is no more

Veteran Wickrama Bogoda who shot to fame with his role as Sugath in Dr. Lester James Peries’ ‘Golu Hadawatha’, passed away early today at the age of 72.

Having entered the acting scene via stage plays, Bogoda served at the Bank of Ceylon for several years.

His remains will lie at No. 49E, Old Road, Pannipitiya. Funeral arrangement would be notified later.
