Rs 1 mn reward for info on Kahawatte killers

The Police department has decided to award Rs.1 million to any individual who provides correct information about the whereabouts of suspects involved in the killing of a mother and daughter in Kotakethana area in Kahawatte on July 19.

The victims, daughter and her mother were identified as 32 year-old PushpaKumariand her mother 63 year-old Premawathiwere found murdered and burnt inside their home.

The Police headquarters in a statement said that the information can be given to numbers, 0773350556, 0777425960 and 0112422176. (SD)
