Errors in A/L Agriculture paper

E-mail Print
Errors in the 2012 A/L Examination seems to mount with reports of another error in Agriculture Paper II (Old Syllabus) held yesterday (11) morning.

The Examinations Department had taken measures to issue an amendment paper concerning the error, by yesterday morning.

However, Ceylon Teachers’ Service Union (CTSU) claims some of the candidates were faced with much inconvenience as the amendment paper had not arrived at certain examination centres until 15 minutes before the deadline which was scheduled at 11.30 a.m. today. (Lakna Paranamanna)

It will be surprised, if any of the present minister do a job without a "Error", "Blunder" or a "Mistake" .

When we have unqualified people whose only qualification is to TALK BIG, running the affairs of the country, what can you expect? But hey we won a war and the country belongs to the majority...that's enough right?

For all those who are against privatization of education- This is what happens when you entrust the govt all the responsibilitie s on a all important sector like education. The children are dependent on the A/L they mess up A/L's. The children are dependent on State universities, Admission delays for like ever and then the strikes never get you to complete the degree. Its high time the people put aside their selfish goals and agendas and join hands to broaden education in this country

Few decades ago our education standard was the best in Asia. All international educational institutions recognized our educational qualifications and students from Sri lanka have shown outstanding results. Now the situation is not so due to political mess up in the education sector.
