Aussie bound 25 arrested in Beruwala

Twenty five people were arrested today in Beruwala when they attempted to flee the country to Australia, early this morning
The suspects were arrested in Nilgo Wadiya, Bandarawaththa within the Beruwala police area.

The Police said that the main suspect who is said to be the head of the smuggling ring has been arrested. He is reported to be a resident of Moratuwa.
The suspects are to be produced before the Kalutara magistrate’s court today.
