Policeman caught for abusing girl

A police constable was arrested for allegedly abusing a thirteen year old girl in Kataragama who had come there to see the Perahera from Moneragala, police said.

The suspect is to produce before the Tissamaharama Magistrate courts today. The Kataragama police are conducting further investigations

What a pathetic incident !!! It is a curse on Sri Lanka for an incident of this nature to take place in a sacred place like Kataragama. Those who should uphold the law are breaking the law.
