If the complaint was against a civilian by now the person will be behind bars. IGP what are you doing? You don't need any permission to arrest a politician for a crime. Please do your job

What else can you expect from these goon ministers appointed by MR. Their philosophy is "My way or Highway". This guy should be sacked. However MR will promote him in keeping with his traditional way.

A couple of minister thugs are dragging MR and his govt. down. With a 2/3 rd majority in Parliament I cannot understand why he makes excuses for them without just kicking them out unless he thinks that the can get something out of even he camp stray dogs for his lust for power!

Its good that these things are happening and MR doing nothing about it because then the little popularity he has left will fade away sooner and the people will rise to reclaim their rights

A good one, now we should wait and see the outcome as to how the President is going to solve this issue. Predictably, the offending Minister might get a promotion or an appointment to an overseas posting, just like the disciplinary actions taken against other culprits in the government.

Sack the minister immediately and then have a inquiary. And it is governement duty to ask the minister to apologize to magistrate. Whatever the good things governement is doing, they must keep the decorum and discipline in the country which is parmount and the cardinal principle. And also show that nobody is above the law!

Political Arrogance and hooliganism gone right into judiciary threatening democratic society. Is this part of 'Mahinda Chinthanaya' ? President should take immediate action to prove his commitment to maintain law and order.
