Pera undergrads remanded

Two Peradeniya undergrads who had allegedly stormed the Peradeniya Rest House, assaulted the employees, caused damage to property and fled with cash were ordered to be remanded till July 2 by Kandy Additional Magistrate Sampath Hewawasam.

The third year medical faculty students are due to be produced before an identification parade.  (J.A.L.Jayasinghe)
