Salman as brand ambassador for SL?

E-mail Print
Salman Khan may be appointed as brand ambassador for the inaugural Sri Lanka Premiere league, if buzz is to be believed.

A source said, "There's a big craze for Bollywood in Sri Lanka, and Salman has been approached. There's been no official announcement yet, but Salman has agreed."

Sources suggest Salman is a good friend of Sri Lanka's president's son, and hence has given his nod. (Source: Times of India)

Indian cricketers are not participating but GOSL is bringing down Indian stars as brand ambassadors. What a shame. Why can't a self respecting nation have it's own brand ambassadors instaed of relying on other nations to boost up its image.
