Over 50 injured in wasp attack

More than 50 persons including foreigners were injured after they were stung by wasps at the historic Sigiriya fortress today, leading the authorities to temporally closed the fortress for tourists, police said.

Several other local and foreign tourists who were stuck on top of the fortress as a result of the incident are being escorted to safety.
