Lightning kills 11

At least eleven individuals have been killed due to the lightning during the year, the Department of Meteorology said.

The Department urged citizens to take necessary precautions due to lightening activities being on the rise.  The Inter Monsoon condition that is prevalent in the country has resulted in extreme thunder showers being witnessed in many parts of the island.(H.F)

Now more people are killed by mosquitoes, stray dogs and thunder storms. Not to mention the accidents. These are quite high compared to war time figures! What is happening in the country?

Do you know why? people were staying inside their houses during the war time!, scared of bus bombs. :D
