Four arrested for smuggling

Kalpitiya Police have taken into custody four people accused of trying to smuggle sea shells to India. The accused were caught on the Nawaladi shore on Mohuntuwarama Island off Kalpitiya in the early hours of this morning. A 36 foot trawler and other equipment have also been confiscated.
