Body of missing constable found in Pannala

The body -- suspected to be that of a police constable, reported to be missing from Kadawatha -- was found in a jungle area at Bulugahawatte in Werahera, Pannala last morning, Police said.  He had gone missing on February 17 while on duty.  

The police took into custody a suspect believed to have been connected to the incident and is to be produced in the Pannala Magistrate’s Court today.  
Further investigations are being carried out by the Criminal Investigations Division  of the Kelaniya Police
